About SCOTT MASON
Scott has been teaching sports to youth and event organizers for over 30 years with local, regional, national and international sports organizations. Scott spent 13 years with Provincial, National Team and Olympic Athletes in their training environment, working with national governing bodies helping athletes and officials develop through structured programs and educational systems.
His roles included Pro Judge & Head Judge with International Judges Commission for Freestyle Snowboarding, Competition Director for the Canadian Snowboard Federation, Technical Supervisor for freestyle venues for the International Snowboard Federation and Burton Snowboards, Snowboard Officials Program Co-Author and Event Coordination Instructor for USSA.
With over a decade of coaching Minor Hockey, along with skills training in the region for most of that time, I am always focused on individual skills that create a solid platform for improving gameplay by teaching both the mechanics and cognitive components of skills development.
