Jason Gordon brings a wealth of experience and passion to the world of hockey coaching, having dedicated over three decades to developing players and enhancing their skills. His journey in hockey began as a formidable player at the U18AAA and Junior B levels in Saskatchewan, where he honed his on-ice talents and deepened his understanding of the game.

Since 1990, Jason has been a stalwart presence in hockey schools, imparting his extensive knowledge and expertise to young athletes. His commitment to excellence is underscored by his certification as a Hockey Canada Certified High Performance Coach, a testament to his advanced training and dedication to the sport.

Throughout his illustrious coaching career, Jason has achieved notable successes. In 1997, he led his team to victory at the WHL Bantam Cup, showcasing his ability to guide and inspire young players to perform at their best. His coaching prowess was further highlighted in 2014 when he secured a gold medal at the Saskatchewan Winter Games, a proud moment that underscored his skill in developing winning teams.

Jason’s coaching philosophy centers on skill development and helping each player achieve their individual goals. He believes in nurturing talent through personalized training and fostering a supportive environment where players can thrive both on and off the ice.

In addition to his coaching roles, Jason has contributed significantly to the hockey community as a scout for both the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL). His keen eye for talent and strategic insights have been invaluable in identifying and nurturing the next generation of hockey stars.

Currently, Jason serves as the head coach of the Yorkton U18AAA Maulers. Under his leadership, the Maulers continue to develop into a competitive and cohesive unit, benefiting from his vast experience and strategic acumen.
