Since 1990, Jason has been a stalwart presence in hockey schools, imparting his extensive knowledge and expertise to young athletes. His commitment to excellence is underscored by his certification as a Hockey Canada Certified High Performance Coach, a testament to his advanced training and dedication to the sport.
Throughout his illustrious coaching career, Jason has achieved notable successes. In 1997, he led his team to victory at the WHL Bantam Cup, showcasing his ability to guide and inspire young players to perform at their best. His coaching prowess was further highlighted in 2014 when he secured a gold medal at the Saskatchewan Winter Games, a proud moment that underscored his skill in developing winning teams.

In addition to his coaching roles, Jason has contributed significantly to the hockey community as a scout for both the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL). Currently, Jason serves as the head coach of the Yorkton U18AAA Maulers. Under his leadership, the Maulers continue to develop into a competitive and cohesive unit, benefiting from his vast experience and strategic acumen.
